I've been a fan and patron of the Office Hours Live podcast, and the trinity of Tim Heidecker, Doug Lussenhop and Vic Berger IV separately for years. One of my favorite weekly rituals is throwing on the new OHL on Friday mornings, drinking coffee, and finishing out the work week with some laughs and being tuned into some of my favorite new music. This week I was working from home and figured 'why not,' so I joined the members only zoom for the live episode and watched from a new perspective. Since I started PizzaCoffee I've been trying my best to put myself out there more, so I jumped at the chance to be the City of the Day zoomer. If you're not familiar, City of the Day, is a segment on the show that has gone through several iterations. Currently, there's a silly ad and jingle in the front half of the show that ends with a zoom guest saying the city they're from and a little conversation. This week it was me! When they called on me I was a little shook and unprepared, but I played it off alright and got Tim going on a nice political rant. Then when it was over I knew I had a good segue to grab the mic while I could, and plug PizzaCoffee! The RFK / WORM design was inspired by a joke Tim made on the show a few weeks ago, so I had to show them! The reception was great! Even the comments were really positive! "I don't know how much that will sell, but it looks cool!" from Tim is exactly what we go for here at PizzaCoffee. I got to show off the Trump and Biden merch too before my free ad time welcome ran out. It was a wild experience. I was buzzing all day. Couldn't be happier with our first big plug and celebrity review.
There is something about that uneasy smile I get from people when I show my work that is incredibly fulfilling.
Here's the link to the whole episode and my little section. If you like what you see, then know you're really missing out on all the good stuff and sign up for their pateron to get the full episodes. I've been plugging this well before my recent rise to stardom!
I really can't thank them enough for that! Growing your following from basically nothing is often a lonely process. Being able to get this level of exposure AND have it be super positive really gasses up the tank to keep on truckin'. Thanks to everyone who's followed our insta, visited the site and especially those NEW CUSTOMERS! You all are very rad and cool! Maybe I'll see you sometime in Walz Town 🍕☕️
Also, let me warn you again. THE PROPAGANDA COLLECTION IS GOING AWAY AFTER THE ELECTION. These will become instant collectibles, rare items, coveted investments in culture, and high valued shares of snark. I'm fairly certain they will never come back, so get them while you can!
Okay ta ta for now,
Cody
